Think our email briefings can’t accommodate Black Box and Important Safety Information (ISI)? Think again! BulletinHealthcare has executed numerous campaigns for our advertising clients that require Black Box and ISI messaging. While most email clients do not support animated ads like HTML5 scrolling ISIs due to security concerns with JavaScript, we recognize the critical importance of these requirements. That’s why we offer unparalleled customization options within our ad server to enable our advertising partners to effectively display their Black Box and ISI messaging.

We offer two options for ISI ad units that are designed to provide advertisers with ample space to meet regulatory requirements. Here’s how we do it:

  • Option 1 — Anchor Link ISI (2 Ad Units): This setup includes a creative ad located within the editorial portion of the briefing, paired with a larger ad unit at the bottom of the briefing. The bottom unit offers virtually unlimited space to display even the most detailed ISIs. When users click the creative portion, they are directed to the ISI content at the bottom. The ISI ad can be as long as necessary to meet your brand’s needs. As an additional benefit, the cost for the ISI ad slot is waived in consideration of brand requirements. • Option 2 — Oversized Single Ad Unit: This option combines the creative and ISI messaging into one large ad. However, if the ad exceeds 1,000 pixels in height, it will be locked at the bottom of the briefing. This ensures optimal display while accommodating extensive ISI content.

Finally, we offer complimentary design services to clients with ISI ads, including converting existing HTML5 assets to meet our specifications.
